It’s become increasingly clear that traditional antivirus is no longer sufficient in stopping advanced threats such as ransomware. Companies need a next-generation antivirus (NGAV) solution to successfully stop modern attacks.

Rather than relying on a signature, next-gen AV reduces overhead and false positives through intelligence, behavior and pattern matching. And often times the biggest value-add for NGAV is the visibility into endpoint behaviors, and finding a powerful solution that doesn’t take up a lot of system resources.

Those were exactly the benefits that leading fantasy sports provider DraftKings saw when they replaced their prior antivirus solution with next-gen AV. DraftKings set out to find a comprehensive security solution that wouldn’t impact business operations. They needed something that would keep them safe while allowing their users to work.

As mentioned in the video below, DraftKings evaluated ~100 different solutions, and Cb Defense won out. Of the many solutions DraftKings vetted, they felt that 99 percent of them affected the usability of their endpoints. With Cb Defense their developers don’t even know it’s running in the background.
